Biomass boilers: wood, pellets, various granulates and combined wood-pellets

The boilers are connected to the domestic plumbing and heating system and replace the classic natural gas boilers. The operating mechanism is the same, the difference lies in the type of wood or pellet fuel.

Like the stoves, they have a tank called a silo or warehouse from which they are fed automatically by taking the fuel and are distinguished by large and small capacities. They work like conventional boilers: they heat the water which, by radiating into the radiators (radiators), carries the heat throughout the house. By installing a small tank, these boilers can provide for the production of domestic hot water. The pellet tank holds up to 45kg of material.

Tax savings opportunities and incentives

Are you looking for a pellet stove or thermo stove to heat and furnish your home?

The Thermal Account is an incentive system that promotes the implementation of operations to increase energy efficiency and the production of thermal energy from renewable sources for small plants. The Thermal Account – introduced by the Ministerial Decree Economic Development 28 December 2012 – was renewed with the D.M. Economic Development February 16, 2016, the so-called Thermal Account 2.0, which provides, among other things, an inspection of the size of the eligible plants, an expansion of the access methods and of the subjects admitted (PAs also include in-house companies and cooperatives of inhabitants) and new energy efficiency measures.

Thanks to the Thermal Account it is possible to redevelop your buildings improving their energy performance, thus reducing consumption costs and quickly recovering part of the costs. The 2021 Thermal Account supplies economic bonuses up to 65% of the costs, paid to improve the efficiency and energy saving of buildings and for the production of renewable energy, for public administrations, businesses and individuals. The person responsible for managing the mechanism and providing incentives is the Energy Services Manager – GSE, the public company that promotes the development of renewable sources and energy efficiency in Italy. For instructions on the disbursement of incentives, refer to the GSE website: https://www.gse.it/servizi-per-te/efficiency-energetica/conto-termico)
